The short version
The Content Board is a content planner. Your photos, videos, captions and plans are saved in your own Google Drive or in your own browser. We don't have a server that stores your content, we can't see it, and we never sell or share it.
Who we are
The Content Board is made by Brittany. You can reach us at support@thecontentboard.com.
What the app stores and where
- Your content (photos, videos, captions, hashtags, notes and your calendar) is saved in a folder called "The Content Board" in your own Google Drive once you connect it.
- Small previews of your photos and your plan are also kept in your browser on your device so the app opens quickly. You can clear these at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- If you don't connect Google Drive, everything is kept only in your browser on that device.
Google account access
When you tap "Connect Google Drive", Google asks you to allow access. The app asks only for the drive.file permission. That means it can see and change only the files and folder the app creates. It cannot see any other file in your Google Drive.
We use this access only to save, open, update and delete your Content Board files when you ask the app to. Your Google sign-in happens directly with Google; we never see your password. The access token stays in your browser and isn't sent to us.
What we don't collect
We don't use analytics or advertising trackers in the app, and we don't keep a copy of your content. Your purchase and membership are handled by our checkout provider (systeme.io), which has its own privacy policy and stores the name and email you use to buy.
Sharing
We don't share, sell or rent your information. Your content only leaves the app when you choose to copy, save or share it yourself.
Removing your data and access
- Delete any post in the app, or delete "The Content Board" folder in your Google Drive.
- Remove the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Clear your browser's site data for this website to remove what's stored on your device.
Children
The Content Board is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
